For a 32-hour workweek

The reduction of the working day has been a traditional claim of the working class and constitutes, at the present time, a necessary and fair demand, in view of the evolution it has had in recent decades, the economic results achieved and its unequal distribution. In addition, it represents an important lever to promote a new labor and productive model, which generates more and higher quality employment, and which is especially relevant in the current situation, after the negative socioeconomic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
